These terms govern the provision of Process Serving, Skip Tracing, and related investigative services provided by Trax Investigations UK to our clients.

By instructing us, submitting any enquiry, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Services Provided

We provide professional Process Serving, Skip Tracing, and associated investigative services primarily for solicitors, law firms, legal professionals, and authorised agents.
All services are provided on a best-endeavours basis and in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards in England and Wales.

No Guarantee of Outcome
​
You acknowledge and agree that:

Successful service or location of an individual can not be guaranteed.

Subjects may evade service or provide false or misleading information.

Skip tracing results depend on th accuracy, availability and lawfullness of data sources.
We do not guarantee timescales, outcomes, or results unless expressly agreed in writing.

Client responsibilites

You confirm that:

You have a lawful basis to instruct us and requests the services.

All information you provide is accurate, up to date, and obtained lawfully.

The services are not being used for harrassement, surveillance without authority, or any unlawful pupose.
You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or unlawful instruction.

Lawful Use & Compliance
​All services are conducted in accordance with:

GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018.

Civil Procedure Rules (Where applicable).

We refuse the right to, suspend, or terminate Services if we reasonably believe instructions are unlawful, misleading, unethical, or expose us to legal risk.

Fees & Payment

Fees are agreed to prior to commencement unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms are as specified on your invoice or agreement.

Additional fees may apply for urgent instructions, extra attempts, or unforeseen complexity.

Cancellations & Refunds

Once work has commenced, fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation after instruction but before completion may still incur charges.

Disbursements and incurred costs remain payable regardless of outcome.

Limitation of Liability
​
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.

Our total liabilities shall not exceed the fees paid for the relevant instruction.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties, incorrect information, or subject evasion.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

Data Protection
​
We act as a data processor when handling personal data on your behalf.
Personal data is processed soley for lawful purposes connected to the Services and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Confidentiality

All instructions, documents, and information provided are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed except where required by law or necessary to perform the services.

Intellectual Property
​
All reports, affidavits, certificates of service, and written materials produced remain our intellectual property until full payment is recieved.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
​
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
